All Roads Lead to Santiago
Any number of Camino routes can be taken to Santiago de Compostela. Although many pilgrims, if not the largest number of them, begin their journey in the small French mountain town of Saint Jean Pied de Port, others venture out from Lisbon, Porto, Madrid, Oviedo, or Seville just to list a few. Whether hiking a shorter route of just a few days or walking for over a month, the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela has an indescribable pull on every pilgrim. The sense of accomplishment upon reaching Santiago is something people today share with pilgrims who walked the same paths centuries ago.
